I've read on the NS support forums that 45 pounds is great, but I had hoped that I woul dhave lost pounds by now. The best part of the plan is that it comes with healthy foods that are already prepared for me to eat. Not only do I not like to cook, I just don't have the time to cook. I do not think I have found a food that I did not like yet. If you drink coffee, stop using creamer as I discovered I was drinking an extra calories a day in coffee creamer! I thought if I pay to go out to eat everyday I might as well pay to eat this healthy food and lose some weight.
One-off studies that get a significant result are not evidence of anything. Only when an effect is repeated in many studies by many scientists should you believe.
